This climbing site is really inside the city of Ioannina. The easiest way for someone to find it, is to ask directions for the "Frontzos" open stone theater. It is at the north of the city inside the city forest. As we go up the last road (Patriarxou Evagelidou), instead of turning right for the theater, we turn left on the road we see a little further up. After that, on our right hand we see footpaths. Following the first on our right, we see the rocks after almost 100m.
There are mainly three blocks one of which has bolted lines. The bolts where placed in 2004-2005. Bouldering is possible all around. Best time for climbing, hot summer days and winter good (not humid) ones, because of the forest.
Also, one of the first places people climbed in the city of Ioannina. Before 2004 bouldering or top rope were the only possibilities. Thought there were some people who climbed certain lines leading them.
